Carefully crafted from hundreds of individually sewn fabric pieces, this masterpiece represents countless hours of skill, creativity, and commitment. The group selected a unique, expressive pattern that beautifully captures the spirit and charm of their beloved mountain home.

This is more than a quilt—it’s a heartfelt work of art, rich with story, craftsmanship, and the unmistakable warmth of the community behind it.

Cause

Proceeds from the 2026 Anarchist Mountain Fire Rescue Society (AMFRS) 50/50 and Artisan Quilt draw and our 15th annual online auction (AMFRS 2026 Auction), will be used to purchase a Tohatsu high-performance water pump designed for rugged wildfire conditions. This pump will allow firefighters to access remote water sources, quickly fill water tenders, and set up temporary water supply systems wherever they are needed. It also helps get fire hoses to homes and forested areas at risk.

This purchase will improve the Anarchist Mountain Fire Department's (AMFD) mobile rapid response capabilities to wildfires that are threatening homes in the local community and in adjacent communities that request firefighting support from the AMFD.
